10 Things I Hate About You x Spotify

For Gen-Z high schoolers and young adults, music is more than background noise—it’s a love language, a way of expressing emotion, discovering shared interests, and forming deeper peer connections. Insights from 10TIHAY revealed that teens are craving fresh, authentic ways to bond and create lasting memories. To tap into that desire, we leveraged the cultural power of music during prom season, using Spotify as a storytelling bridge to give audiences a more intimate glimpse into Kat and Patrick’s love story. The campaign execution sequence—many featuring AI-generated visuals—were designed to build excitement and emotional resonance leading up to the film’s anniversary premiere.
